lyrics

Flipping through the yearbook I did see
A pretty pretty baby looking up at me
I’ve never seen that face before
And she was only a sophomore
I searched all over the school
Trying to find that jewel
I asked for the attendance sheet
Said she hadn’t been here for a week
Is she gone with the Trinidad Man?
Is she gone away?
I memorized that picture
I had her in my mind
I went to the brain surgeon
And asked if he could find
That girl in my mind
That girl in my mind
That girl in my mind
That girl in all of my mind
Is she gone with the Trinidad Man?
Is she gone away?
I love her love her love her, I love her love her love her, I love her love her love her, I love her
I love her love her love her, I love her love her love her, I love her love her love her, I love her
Is she gone with the Trinidad Man?
Is she gone away?
